Depart your hotel for My Son, the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization. The Cham people ruled central Vietnam from the 2nd – 13th centuries, and their kingdom once stretched into what are now Laos and parts of Cambodia. Despite many the ruins being decayed over time the sites are fascinating and stonework amazing. A local boat will return you to your hotel.

Note: The tour can start in the morning (between 7.30 AM – 8.30 AM)
or afternoon (1.00 PM – 1.30 PM) – Estimated duration: 4 hours.

After breakfast in the hotel, our local tour guide will pick you up at the hotel then taking you to the village by bicycle. Visit to bamboo handicraft makers, explore the water coconut forest in VIET bamboo basket boats and learn to paddle bamboo basket boats taught by local people. Watch a basket boat performance, crab catching, and receive a souvenir of coconut leaves. Back to the center of town by boat.

Continue walking to experience the street food of Hoi An. This tour is designed to give you the confidence to go out and try street food on your own when you visit a Heaven of street food as in Vietnam. You also discover a different Hoi An – not just beautifully decorated restaurants, not just inexpensive clothing shops, … This tour is a delicious and fun way to explore Hoi An just like a local. Morning transfer to airport for flight to Ha Noi city.

Begin the afternoon with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum. Learn about Ho Chi Minh who led Vietnam’s campaign for independence from French colonial rule. He deciated his life to the liberation of his country from foreign rule. Ho Chi Minh died in 1969 and his body was preserved for posterity. Every October the mausoleum is closed for a month and Uncle Ho is given a bit of a ! Hear the legend of the one pillar pagoda built by an emperor to honour the goddess of mercy. This small pagoda is built
over a pretty lotus pond and is rumoured to have healing powers. Next, visit the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, the apex of regional political power for more than a millennium where research and excavation is still underway, and then head to another 11th century relic, the Temple of Literature, which was built in homage to the
Chinese scholar Confucius. Visit the Museum of Ethnology. The museum is widely acknowledged
as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority peoples. As well as the comprehensive array of exhibits inside, the best part of the museum is found outside in the back garden where you will well-crafted examples of traditional houses in ethnic minority regions. And don’t miss the replica of a Giarai tomb with its rather large fertility symbols carved from wood! Note: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum will not open on Monday afternoon. You might just have to stay out-site or go to our standby option.
