Upon arrival in Hochiminh city, our tour guide will meet you at the airport then transfer to hotel. After checking in the hotel, you will have some free time to refresh up then our tour guide will accompany you to a local restaurant for the welcome dinner with “Nem Cuon” or fresh spring rolls. Sai Gon After breakfast at hotel, enjoy the guided city tour to the former Presidential Palace, the War Remnants Museum, the colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office.
Afterwards we continue to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The complex system of underground tunnels contained innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens.
Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life in the American/Vietnam war must have been like. Overnight in Hochiminh city.
Take a short flight to Da Nang and follow by a visit to the Cham museum; this is one of the best museums in town which give you an insight of the Cham profound culture and their civilization back to the 7th century. Afterward, we make our drive to Hoian with a visit to the marble mountain en route. After check in at the hotel, the rest of the time is at your leisure. Overnight in Hoian.
After your breakfast, enjoy a walking tour in the ancient town of Hoian to the Japanese Covered Bridge, Phung Hung Ancient House, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall and Chua Ong Pagoda. Afterward, we ride on our bicycle off the town to Cuadai beach for a swim or playing some sports with your group on this white sandy beach. In the afternoon, enjoy your free time at the hotel pool or riding around the local stores for some photo oppotunities. (Join in one of the cooking class in Hoian for a fun-filled experience: Optional). Overnight in Hoian.
Halong Bay This morning we take a short flight to Hanoi then transfer to Halong bay; the world natural heritage site; enjoy a drive through rural area with scenic views of rice paddy fields and local people at work. Stop en route to visit one of the local schools to interact with Vietnamese students and see their daily activities at school. After 3, 5 hours of driving, embark our Vietnamese wooden junk. Journey through the spectacular limestone islands and floating villages whilst having a delicious seafood lunch, then disembark to visit ‘Sung Sot’ or “Surprising cave” which is one of the most imposing grottos of the bay. Sail on to the next stop of Titop Island where you can swim and climb up to the top of the island for panoramic views. Tonight, you will be delighted by a candle light seafood dinner on board. Overnight on board in Halong Bay.
Breakfast will be served on board with the combination of western style and local cuisine. Experience the bay up close and personal with a leisurely sampan tour to “Hang Luon” or “Lagoon Cave” for having some stunning picture of the floras and faunas system in Halong and Catba National Park then cruise back to the wharf. Enjoy yet another seafood meal on board before disembarkation for a drive back to Hanoi. . Stop en route at Dong Trieu ceramic factory, and take a leisurely walk through one of our traditional village on the way back. We should be back to Hanoi at around 05pm, the rest the time is at your leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Hanoi After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a guided tour to Hochiminh Complex which includes Hochiminh’s Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Hochiminh’s House on Stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda, then visit the Temple of Literature. Afterward, we visit the Vietnam National Museum of Ethnology, the attractive collection of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam. Enjoy lunch at KOTO restaurant which is a famous training restaurant for the street kids in Hanoi. Tonight you have reserved seats for an unforgettable show at Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre. Today, you will have free time for your own activities in Hanoi until the pick up time for the airport transfer to your onward flight.
