08:00 we drive to Halong Bay – one of Wonder of the world locating 170 km in the North East of Hanoi. Along the road we indulge in the peaceful views of the countryside with farmers working in the endless rice fields and orchards. We board a small wooden junk at noon time and get off to the famous limestone marine landscape. A lunch based on seafood will be served, vegetarian or non-seafood eaters can be catered for if a prior notice is given at booking time.
Boat trip on Halong Bay to admire the beautiful landscape of the immense bay, visit islands and caves on the bay: Fighting Cock islet, Luon cave, Surprising cave ….You are in a wonderful morning with the feeling that you are a tiny part of the nature and are getting in touch with the sea, the cloud and the mountain. Drive back to Hanoi. Stop on the way at Haiduong town to visit a handicraft enterprise making souvenir gifts by handicapped people. Arrival in Hanoi at 20:00.
