The trip begins with overnight train journey from Hanoi to the border town of Laocai. Sleep aboard the train in 4-person soft berth deluxe comfort with Air-conditioner. Overnight on the train.
At about 06:00 am, disembark at Laocai Train Station then drive up on a winding Pass for 1 hour to Sapa, the home of six different hill-tribes.
Enjoy “Pho” the typical breakfast for Vietnamese people. Take a morning walk to Sapa Central Market where you can find all local ethnic minority’s arts and crafts and then to Catcat Village to visit Black Hmong people.
Explore the stunning scenery of the Muong Hoa River to the village of Laochai which is inhabited by the Black H’mong families amongst an amazing valley. Continue to Tavan Village, the home of Zay minority. After 3 hours trekking through beautiful scenery, drive back to Sapa Town. Overnight in Sapa
This morning our vehicle transports the group 6km out of town to commence an hour long walk to Taphin village, located in a wide valley and surrounded by rice paddies. Ta Phin is a Red dzao community; the women are particularly striking with large red turbans often covered with old coins or jewellery. Visit a Dzao household and learn about their cultures and traditions. We come back to Sapa town for check out and some lunch before heading to Lao Cai station for the overnight train back to Ha Noi.
About 5am in the morning you will arrive in Hanoi, this is where your Glimpse of Sapa tour ends.
